New York, 22 de Septiembre, 2026 –El Quinteto Astor Piazzolla vuelve a ser reconocido por la Academia Latina de la Grabación con una nominación a los Latin GRAMMY® 2026 en la categoría Mejor Álbum de Tango por Le Grand Tango, su más reciente producción discográfica.
Con este álbum, el Quinteto continúa llevando la obra de Astor Piazzolla a nuevas audiencias alrededor del mundo, a través de una interpretación que combina la fuerza, la pasión y la innovación que caracterizaron al creador del Nuevo Tango. Le Grand Tango reúne ocho obras de Piazzolla, incluyendo piezas como “Oblivion”, “Zita”, “Le Grand Tango” y una adaptación para quinteto de su reconocido Concierto para Bandoneón. La nominación de 2026 se suma a una trayectoria que ya cuenta con dos Latin GRAMMY® en la categoría Mejor Álbum de Tango, obtenidos en 2019 y 2023.

New York, September 22, 2026 – Quinteto Astor Piazzolla has once again been recognized by the Latin Recording Academy with a nomination for the 2026 Latin GRAMMY® Awards in the Best Tango Album category for Le Grand Tango, its latest recording.
With this album, Quinteto continues to bring the work of Astor Piazzolla to new audiences around the world through a performance that combines the strength, passion, and innovation that characterized the creator of Nuevo Tango.Le Grand Tango brings together eight works by Piazzolla, including pieces such as “Oblivion,” “Zita,” “Le Grand Tango,” and an adaptation for quintet of his renowned Concierto para Bandoneón. The 2026 nomination adds to a career that already includes two Latin GRAMMY® Awards in the Best Tango Album category, received in 2019 and 2023.
