Erni Lu presents the official video for “Felicidad” from New York to the Latino community

Peruvian singer-songwriter and guitarist Erni Lu premieres the official video for “Felicidad”, a vibrant production featuring personalities from the Peruvian community in the U.S. Every scene becomes a testimony to the collective strength of the Peruvian diaspora in New York, reinforcing the cultural bridge between Latin America and the big city. The song is already available worldwide on all digital platforms, and the official video premieres on Friday, October 24, 2025.

“Felicidad” is the second single from his upcoming EP “Otro Flow”, released on the ROM label and produced by award-winning producer Mr. Sonic. The video is a key part of the promotional campaign and seeks to amplify the message of optimism, diversity and joy that runs through Erni Lu's music. With this song, the artist reaffirms his personal style, which fuses the freshness of contemporary Latin music with the soul of the guitar and traditional singing.

Recorded with the goal of spreading joy and community, “Felicidad” is a call to value the small moments of everyday life: waking up to coffee, living without rushing, sharing laughs and hugs with the people who matter. The lyrics open with everyday images: “Ya salió el sol, contigo me despierto. Huelo el café, trabajo en algo nuevo.” (“The sun is up, I wake up with you. I smell the coffee, I'm working on something new.”)

Shot in New York, the video brings together members of the Peruvian diaspora, influencers, musicians, journalists and Latino professionals living in the United States, who share different ways of living and expressing happiness as a community. This visual approach reinforces the single's message: unity and shared joy as a path to feeling fulfilled.

“We wanted this song to sound like a hug: close, sincere, celebrating who we are and what we can build together,” says Erni Lu about the inspiration behind the single.
