Flor Bromley releases “Herstory”, a children's album that pays tribute to great women in history from all five continents
Latin GRAMMY® nominee Flor Bromley releases her fifth studio album, Herstory, a tribute to living, inspiring women who have made history in science, politics and the arts. Through a blend of powerful stories, musical richness and cultural diversity, Flor travels across every continent to capture the essence of ten pioneering women, turning their moments into songs. The album is available from July 25, 2025.
Produced by two-time GRAMMY® winner Lucy Kalantari, Herstory is an educational and moving musical journey that aims to inspire audiences of all ages. With ten captivating songs, Flor celebrates female icons such as astronaut Emily Calandrelli (North America), writer Isabel Allende (South America), legendary singer Gloria Estefan (Central America), environmental activist Greta Thunberg (Europe), Antarctic explorers Clare Ballantyne, Mairi Hilton, Natalie Corbett and Lucy Bruzzone, inventor Sahithi Pingali (Asia), Olympic champion Fatuma Roba (Africa) and politician Louisa Wall (Oceania).
The album also includes anthems of female empowerment. The title track, HERstory, is a dynamic hip-hop song that amplifies women's voices and inspires the next generation to claim their place in history. This electrifying collaboration features Alphabet Rockers, Carly Ciarrocchi, Kaitlin Becker and 7-year-old artist Aura V, fusing bold beats with a message of representation and power.
The closing track, Trailblazing, was mastered in Dolby Atmos at Abbey Road studios, giving it a cinematic depth that reflects the stature of the women it honors.
With a truly global reach, Herstory features award-winning artists such as Tony Succar, Loopy Tunes, Charu Suri, Ricky Persaud Jr. and Jabali Afrika, who enrich the album's multicultural sound.
A companion educational curriculum will also be released, designed to bring these stories into classrooms and spark meaningful conversations.
