After his U.S. success, Josué Comedy returns to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico with “Madre Latina, Peligrosa pero Divina”

He made history once and he'll do it again. Puerto Rican comedian Josué Comedy, who filled the Choli with family humor in 2024, returns on Sunday, April 4, 2027 at 6 p.m. to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot with his new 100% family show “Madre Latina, Peligrosa pero Divina”.

After that historic show in 2024, Josué Comedy didn't stop. He set off on a long and successful tour of the United States, selling out shows in cities from Orlando to New York, Texas and Connecticut, where thousands of Latino families saw themselves in his stories and laughed until they cried.

Now he brings to Puerto Rico what he himself calls “the funniest and most complete show of my career”.

“Madre Latina, Peligrosa pero Divina” is a hilarious look at the quirks of our Latina mothers: their sayings, scoldings, advice and contradictions. Those women who tell us “if you fall, I'll hit you even harder”, who bless us and scold us in the same sentence, the most loving in the world but the most dangerous when they lose their patience. A show EVERY family will relate to.

“I'm extremely excited and blessed to return to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, three years after that historic night in 2024 when we filled it for the first time with a 100% family stand-up comedy show. Coming back now with ‘Madre Latina: Peligrosa pero Divina’ is very special, because I believe it's the funniest and most complete show of my career. We've toured the United States filling theaters and watching thousands of people relate to the stories of our Latina mothers. Being able to bring this show back to my island and share it with my people is an enormous blessing,” said Josué Comedy.

From social media to the Coliseo, Josué Comedy has built a flawless career based on clean, family-friendly humor that brings three generations together in the same room.

Anyone who has a Latina mother has to be at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on April 4! Tickets are available at Ticketera.com and josuecomedy.com.

A tribute to Latina mothers

With “Madre Latina: Peligrosa… Pero Divina”, Josué Comedy pays tribute to the Latina mothers who shaped generations with their character, their unconditional love and that particular way of raising us that today becomes a source of laughter and memories for the whole family.

“I wanted to make this show as a tribute to all the Latina mothers who marked our lives with their character, their tenderness and their unique way of teaching us. We all have a story with a Latina mother, and that's the connection I want to celebrate with the audience,” said Josué Comedy.

The new tour follows the success of “Soy un Papá Fresita”, the show with which the comedian kept strengthening his presence in Latino family comedy in the United States.

“This show is a tribute to all the Latina mothers who raised us with their character, their love and their unique way of teaching us about life,” the comedian added.
